Recently, there have been many attempts to buy domain names related to TWSBI in certain countries. For example, www.twsbi.com.pl, www.twsbi.com.cz, etc. TWSBI actually does own many of country variants in domain name ourselves. However, at the moment, we cannot own them all.

Our policy for these variants follows; any individual/company who does own these variants will not receive any TWSBI branded products or service. 

Also, for any customers who encounters such variants other than www.twsbi.com, it is wise to consider them not an official site. www.twsbi.com is the only official TWSBI authorized website in use at the moment. All other variants are either not in use, or have been sought by 3rd party individual/companies for the sake of monetary gain.

Included in every ECO fountain pen is a quick reminder to wipe the ink off the nib and feeder right after you fill up the pen. This is an important step; only needed when you ink up/refill the pen.

We just wanted to answer some general questions that people had regarding our earlier fountain pens.

The main question always seems to be “does TWSBI use cheap plastic?”

The answer is No, we don’t. We actually use polycarbonate with a protective coating heat treated onto the pen. This allows for the plastic to have a hard shell, scratch resistant, and clear crystal look.

The follow up question is “then why does the 530/540 model crack in certain areas”

The simple, non chemical answer is; when we first started producing the 530, it was one of the first times experimenting with protective coating around polycarbonate. With this comes the learning curve of the chemical reaction between the heat-treated coating and polycarbonate. Therefore, some people had the experience of a “cracking barrel or holder” on their 530 models and some 540 models.

However, as we moved onto the late 540 model and now the 580 model and all other models; we have addressed, learned, and fixed this issue. The pens now do not have the previous issue anymore. With that said, we are still improving and will always continuously do so with each product we make. 

Oh!! and a quick FYI, your product's warranty NEVER runs out!! We will fix and repair it for as long as you want to own it. We back our products and customers 100 percent.

Hello Everyone,

We all know everyone is used to taking apart our pens and giving them a thorough cleaning. However, with the 580 Aluminum version, we put a special grease around the aluminum parts for smooth operations. Please do NOT wipe this grease off when cleaning. 

Contrary to popular belief, changing colors for the pen does NOT require disassembly and cleaning of the back end. Thank you all for taking the time to read this update.
